Der erst fünfundzwanzig Jahre junge Küchenchef setzt nicht zum ersten mal seinen Anker in Hamburg, nach mehreren Stationen bei Deutschlands Kochelite unteranderem auch in Hamburg und bei Dieter Müller an Bord der MS Europa als dessen rechte Hand. Den gebürtigen Spessarter, zog es jetzt aber endgültig in die Hafenstadt, wo er sich kulinarisch verwirklichen möchte.

Die gebürtige Oldenburgerin ist nach 4 Jahren Seefahrt auf der MS Europa zurück in den Wahlheimat Hafen Hamburg zurückkehrt.
Die Nähe zum Wasser ist bei Ihr schon immer da gewesen, nach der Ausbildung hat sie 3 Jahre auf Norderney gearbeitet bevor sie das erste Mal in Hamburg gewohnt hat.

We invite our guests on a culinary journey with our 5-, 6-, and 7-course fish & seafood degustation menus – optional with wine pairing for each course to supplement your dinner.
If being pregnant or being allergic to certain ingredients oder having intolerances we are able to alter our dishes accordingly – but please let us know when making reservations.

We celebrate our second consecutive Michelin Star for 2019 with our new Chef Stefan Barnhusen. Thanks to a great team effort and thanks to all of you!!
Stefan Barnhusen becomes the new Chef

On May 1st Stefan Barnhusen has taken over the position of Chef. The last 10 years in his career he has been cooking in 3-, 2- and 1 star Restaurants as a Sous Chef und now his first appointment as Chef is his new challenge. We strongly believe that his abilities will take the "Jellyfish" to an even higher level in excellence.

Gourmet magazine "Der Feinschmecker" elects us fish & seafood restaurant No. 1 in Germany in his March 2018 edition. We won the competition between Germany's 12 best fish restaurants.

Location

Indoors we offer seated dining for 42 guests and – if the weather is right – there are 16 seats more outside. Making reservations is highly recommended. For events with „flying service“ our maximum capacity is 70 persons.

We accept exclusive bookings and offer individual event planning according to your requests and wishes.

We ask your understanding: Dogs cannot be accepted as guests!
